Part of the fun of this newsletter is all the food I eat on the road in rural Japan.

What’s the Point?

Is there one? You tell me. I travel a lot, work in some pretty niche fields, people tell me I’m an alright writer with some decent ideas, whatever. The way I look at things, is its always best to get as many angles on each one as you can, and to make sure that you’ve got a wide range of them. Why? Because this helps me make better, more informed decisions in a greater number of circumstances that I may or may not find myself in someday.

And this is what I deliver to my readers - a rather extreme, probably unique perspective on the world that ought to help you analyze your surroundings. Granted, its a relatively gonzo vision that I provide, but that is, perhaps, the point. To access new things in new ways in order experience the world around you more fulfilling manner. Getting alternative perspectives is part of that journey, and, really, how many vacant house dealing, extreme metal show booking, goat getting, surfing, American mountain men in Japan do you know, after all?

Don’t Worry, You’ll Know

Updates are automatically delivered to your inbox, but I’ll be pushing releases out across social as well. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed if I miss an issue of a newsletter, but hey, if you like this one that much then all the better.

Expand Your Mind

I talk about a lot of stuff. Music. Crypto. Real Estate. Organizational methodologies. Guerilla marketing tactics. Calligraphy. The world’s kind of a cool place full of cool things, though disappointingly I find that often enough that they get backburnered in favor of more immediately profitable pursuits.

That’s boring.

So, like, if you join up as a paid member - an MKUltra - you’ll get a few things to make sure you’re not bored… or at least less bored. That includes:

  • Access to a private Signal chat server

  • Non-public articles

  • Music, art, and cultural recommendations

  • Discounted rates on consulting services
